    Do’s and don’ts
    Don’ts and don’ts during smog
    Persons suffering from heart and lung ailment are advised to stay indoors
    Drink more water to flush toxins from body
    Remain indoors if you have breathing difficulty, try to keep children indoors as well
    Try alternative modes of transport – car pooling
    Exercise indoors or during the evening
    Don’t indulge in outdoor activities during early morning or when levels of air pollution are high
    Keep purifying plants at home and in offices
    Pollution drops substantially when you’re walking in smaller lanes away from the main road
    Avoid strenuous activity, which leads to inhalation of greater volumes of minute pollutants
    Don’t burn garbage
    Consult a medical professional in case of breathing difficulty
    Regular intake of Vitamin C to boost your immunity
    Use nasal filters or air purifiers if you experience difficulty in breathing
